How worried are you about the swine flu hitting your household? Will your family get a flu shot this year? What have you done, if anything, to protect your family from the swine flu?

I’m not that worried about it. Yes it’s a little worse than the normal flu but there’s nothing you can really to to avoid it. I don’t get the flu shot and I don’t plan to start now. I firmly believe my body needs to build up it’s own antiboides. I don’t use antibacterial products more than necessary, and I don’t run to the doctor at the first sign of a runny nose.

My kids get a flu shot every year. But only b/c one of them has a birthday in the fall, so they all get it at the same time. If I had to make a trip just for a flu shot, it probably wouldn’t happen.

I am a bit concerned about swine flu and flu in general for my family. We are all in a high risk category, what with kids and chronic diseases. But my husband and I have never gotten flu shots.

My kids will for sure get a flu shot this year, and the swine flu vaccine depends on if my doctor has it available and how much it costs.

I may perhaps have Gem get the shot. However none of us are at risk, and it won’t kill us. But don’t tell Tyler I said that, he is worried about it.

My daughter is going to get her first one this year, but I don’t think I will. It has been a long time since I’ve been sick with the flu and I could really use a day off work. :-) So if I get sick, I’ll worry about it then.
