It’s amazing how certain words are as irritating as nails on a chalkboard. A recent poll I read listed five of the most hated phrases in the English language. Here they are:

1. “Whatever”

2. “You know …”

3. “It is what it is”

 4. “Anyway …”

5. “At the end of the day…”

Question: Which expressions do you despise the most?

    anything with the word “like” I know I do it too, but it drives we crazy to listen to the kids talk sometimes-because they use that word so many times in one sentence.

    Too often I hear young adults and teens using: “those ones”. Even as I write it, those words just grate against me. Just use “those” and leave out the “ones”!
