Finish the following sentence:
I knew I had really become an adult when…
I wanted to call someone to rescue me from my crazy life but my mom was on vacation, so I had to deal with it on my own.
Or…
When I called my mom for advice and I really listened.
Or…
When I saw my husband hold our newborn.
Question: How would you finish the sentence?

. . . when I was called to teach the 10-year-olds at church. My first thought was, “I guess this means I’m not 10 anymore.”
(your other examples ring a bell too, so it’s not like Primary callings were my only wake-up call. They come nearly everyday with a new baby now!)
@Jamie — I taught a college class and I couldn’t believe how young they looked. Wow! I knew I must be getting older. I still picture myself 20-something.
